Understanding Feral Cats & Taming Stray Kittens

By John Korra

September 14, 2017

Cats and kittens are commonly mistaken for being feral, meaning they have returned to their ‘wild’ instincts intended for survival, when they are actually only frightened and could thrive as a pet in a positive environment. By Dr. Jack Walkenhorst

August 10, 2017

In my experience as a practicing veterinarian for 35 years, I’ve found that pet insurance is one of the best investments a pet owner can make for their pet. Almost every pet will suffer a severe and costly injury or illness in his or her lifetime, and not many people have $10,000 lying around in case of an accident. Pet insurance means that a pet owner will never have to choose between optimal care for a pet and finding a way to pay for it.
