Pets In Need of Greater Cincinnati received a $12,500 grant from The Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) to support extended care for dogs in need. The grant was part of $160,000 in grants awarded by The Greater Cincinnati Foundation to fourteen local animal welfare organizations that support the well being of the region's pets.

As the only resource of its kind in Greater Cincinnati, Pets In Need provides affordable, high-quality veterinary care to low-income families. However, there are often cases where pets are in need of diagnostics or treatment beyond the capacity of Pets In Need Clinic resources. In such cases, Pets In Need veterinarians can refer the pet to partnering private veterinary practices with minimal cost to the client, thanks to the generosity of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation and other kind contributors.
