What We Do

F

or many in our community, a pet is the only source of love and support in an otherwise challenging life.

The mission of Pets In Need is to provide affordable, high-quality veterinary care to allow individuals and families of limited means to enjoy the benefits of healthy and responsible pet ownership. Our clinic serves pets from hundreds of low-income households and is the only resource of its kind in Greater Cincinnati. All pets enrolled for services are from homes where household income is at or below 150% of the federal poverty level.

For a minimal copay, pet owners may schedule clinic visits with one of our licensed veterinarians at which their pet receives an exam and all needed vaccines and treatment of minor skin, ear and eye issues.

All pets must be spayed or neutered and we provide subsidized low-cost vouchers to both the UCAN and Ohio Alleycat Resource (OAR) clinics.

As affirmation of our responsible stewardship of financial resources Pets In Need of Greater Cincinnati has received a gold level recognition from GuideStar.
